Beige attitude

Pictures by Andreas Madl

When I was younger I found brown and beige the most ugly colours possible. Well who would have thought that right now, few years later most of my clothes will be exactely in these tones? I just think it is so classy, elegant and is a great alternative to black, which can eventually get pretty boring. I wore this particular outfit during one day of this years Vienna Fashion Week and have to admit it was extremely comfy! That dress from amazing polish brand Yoshe is just a dream and for sure one of my favourite pieces in my closet.

In the end nude is new black, right?

Variations of the white coat PART 3

Pictures by Lukas Preisinger

Finally here is the last part of Variations of the white coat.
Photos were taken on wonderful Stephansplatz- I think one of  the most crowded places in Vienna (well no wonder- it is the city centre and great tourist attraction). But besides this crowd I have to admit it is one of my favourite places in Vienna. It has its own unique charm, especially in the evening. Love it!

MQ Vienna Fashion Week 2013 impressions

Last weekend, after a year of waiting, I finally attended the Vienna Fashion Week: to be honest- if you expect it to be on an international level you can get a little bit disappointed. It wasn't really satisfactory when it comes to organisation and I personally would choose models more carefully. But besides these details it was a great experience and of course it was definetly worth it to see all these amazing designers!  And that's the most important thing about it, isn't it? So let's forget about negative aspects and focus on positive ones.
I have to admit I was very impressed by some designers. Therefore I picked up some of my favourite looks and wanted to share my impressions. Worth mentioning are my polish natives Monika Blazusiak and Kamila Gawronska- Kasperska. You two girls just rocked it! I loved Monika's very feminine look and how she played with materials. By Kamila on the other hand, I was amazed by shapes and cutting. The collection was classy and  feminine yet very modern. I am so proud that Poland had such an amazing designer representation! Congratulations girls!

If you would like to take a closer look and watch some videos of all shows during this years fashion week here is the LINK

Variations of the white coat PART 2

After a short break here ist the 2nd part of white coat variations. I wanted to show what kind of difference a little change of bottoms and shoes can make. For me it seems somehow lighter than the version with jeasns. What do you think?

Yellow in VIC

Pictures by Lukas Preisinger

Since I am the biggest fan of Vienna (seriously I fell in love with this city straight away!) I would love to share and show some of the amazing places, that make this particular city so unique. One of the worth mentioning places out there is Vienna International Centre located in 22nd dictrict. VIC is a building complex, hosting the United Nations Office, which makes this city, after New York, Geneva and Nairobi, one of the 4 UN centres  in the world! (quite awesome, right?) Even though the beauty of VIC architecture style is questionable for many people, I found it really interesting to  walk among all these urban buildings and feel kind of small in this modern surrounding. In order to add a little bit of colour to that monochrome glass landscape, I picked a bright yellow shirt. I think it really matches with all this blue background, don't you think?

Also I  happen to be freshly after Vienna Fashion Week (which unfortunately was a little bit dissapointing but hey let's remember only the positives!) so stay tuned for next posts including my outfits from this event.

The beginning | Variations of the white coat PART 1

Pictures by Lukas Preisinger

After about 1 year of preparations it finally happens: At last I can say "Welcome to my blog! My very own window of fashion and lifestyle." There were some ups and downs but I guess the final output counts. For me this is the new begining, the beginning of something new yet very important. There are many people I would like to thank for supporting me but we will get to that later. Another thing, please excuse my spelling and stylistic mistakes or any other errors since English isn't my native language, to be honest not really my thing either. But believe me, I constantly want to improve my skills. Therefore feel free to correct me in comments- I will be very grateful for that!  But let's skip the "getting-too-long" introduction part and move on to more interesting things.

I guess almost everybody has its own favorite piece during the season (or even over few seasons). For me this spring belonged to that white coat. It is such a timeless piece that goes with almost everything. Therefore I picked 3 outfits that contain this particular piece. Enjoy the first part of the Variations of the white coat!

Jeans: Massimo Dutti

P.S. Note that the shoes I picked for this outfit are actually my first high heels ever, my dad bought me about 6-7  years ago.
